From recognizing our country's heroes to helping make a child's wish come true, to helping others play the sports they love, the Rays have partnered with other corporate citizens to reach out to the Bay Area Community.

Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam joined the Tampa Bay Rays' mascot, Raymond Ray, to celebrate the Summer BreakSpot program with children in St. Petersburg, Fla. The Summer BreakSpot program offers free nutritious meals, recreational fun and educational activities for children 18 and under at more than 3,600 locations statewide during summer.
"Providing children with nutritious meals and healthy activities during the summer months gives them the fuel they need to achieve academic success," stated Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam. "I encourage parents and kids to go to SummerFoodFlorida.org to find a location near them."
Along with Grow Financial, the Rays salute a local family of an active service man or woman who is serving in Iraq during Sunday games.
The Rays help children's wishes come true at every Tuesday game during the season.
The Rays RBI program helps to support the growth, quality and safety of youth baseball and softball programs.
