Birthplace: The birthplace of jazz and great bar-b-que: Kansas City (Missouri)
Resides: San Rafael
ML Service: 13th Season with Giants
How Obtained: Retired from the NFL with Joe Montana. He got more press.
Contract Status: Hoping to retire from MLB still wearing the Giants uniform

Career: sports career started at Mizzou, as a cheerleader for MU's Swim and Diving Team (who knew there were cheerleaders for that!) ... spent nine years in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs and IMG in their Football Division ... Hastings was then recruited by MLB Giants to help market "the new downtown ballpark" in 1996 ... promoted to Director of newly developed Client Relations Department prior to ballpark's inaugural season, now serving as Vice President.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame with Annemarie: My all-time favorite Giant is... Willie Mays. You can't beat a classic!

If I were on the Giants, I would play... Second Base - I grew up idolizing KC's Frank White.

I remember Candlestick Park because.... My first game there was in July of 1996 when I compared the climate to being at a Kansas City Chiefs game in December. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

Splash Hit Counter or Chicken Counter... The Splash! Baseballs do float, you know!

Garlic Fries or Hot Dog... A ballpark frank, please!

Day Game or Night Game... Daytime ball!

Kruk or Kuip... Both or fahgettaboutit.

Beer or Wine... Wine - no secret there!

Rolling Stones or Dave Matthews Band... "Start me up!"

First Base Coach or Third Base Coach... First base - action on every play!

How Obtained: Called up from class-A San Jose in '98
Contract Status: Hoping to become arbitration eligible

Career: 2008 will be 12th season in pro ball...spent '97 and '98 working in minors for Giants affiliate in San Jose...joined Giants prior to final season at Candlestick...told it goodbye and remembers wearing hard helmet during first months in offices of new ballpark...joined Client Relations staff prior to 2000 season...Prior to '03 season, created a fictional lifetime batting average for New City Little League play and claimed it was third best all-time for that circuit...used it to bolster CRE on-line profile...During '04 season, was found out by old Little League teammates and was forced to admit that he had doctored his baseball resume...

Take Me Out To The Ballgame with Rocky:
My all-time favorite Giant is... John "The Count" Montefusco. A great nickname. I like great nicknames.

If I were on the Giants, I would play... very carefully. Because, if all of those guys are getting hurt, what would happen to a scrawny guy like me?

I remember Candlestick Park because.... I once left the bleachers during a freezing cold night game to sit in my car in the parking lot and listen to the game on the radio. But, I didn't leave. I still think I am owed a Croix de Candlestick for that.

Garlic Fries or Hot Dog... A Garlic Dog and Hot Fries. Thanks.

Day Game or Night Game... Take me out to the daygame.

Kruk or Kuip... They are both great, but I prefer a good Koplik.

Beer or Wine... Beer... the cause of and solution to all of life's problems. - Homer Simpson

Curveball or Fastball... I can't hit either, but the curve makes me look silly. So, I'll go fastball.

Splash Hit Counter or Chicken Counter...It would have to be the chicken counter. It's good for the family business.

Rolling Stones or Dave Matthews Band...Call me the tumblin' dice.
Greg Marinec
Client Relations-Customer Service Manager

How Obtained: Acquired by the Giants Executive Sales Team via Free Agency in July of 1997. Traded to Client Relations in November of 1999 for two Sales Executives to be named later.
Contract Status: Contract? What contract??

Scouting Report: After a shoulder injury derailed a promising collegiate career, Marinec brings the passion for the game he had as a player to the Client Relations Department. He always answers the phone within two rings, and his response time on emails is unmatched. He types very well for a big man, and always checks his spelling before hitting the "Send" button. He encourages his customers to always end their voicemail messages with a hearty "BEAT L.A.!" no matter who the Giants are playing.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame with Greg:
My all-time favorite Giant is... Got to be Stretch!

If I were on the Giants, I would play... Catcher...Love being involved on every pitch.

I remember Candlestick Park because... I learned how to light BBQ coals in a 40 MPH gale!

Garlic Fries or Hot Dog... Polish Dog ALL the way.

Day Game or Night Game... You might as well ask "turf" or "natural grass"...who's asking these questions?

Kruk or Kuip... That's like asking "Captain" or "Tennille"…Can't be done!

Keeping Score or Relaxing in the Sun... Sunshine, on my shoulder, makes me happy!

Home Run or Strikeout... Chicks dig the LONG BALL!

Take Me Out To The Ballgame with Margo:
My all-time favorite Giant is... like my mom, I loved watching the Alou brothers but Felipe was my favorite. His son, Moises, was my favorite Marlins player when I worked in Florida...it's a family affair.

If I were on the Giants, I would play... shortstop. My ballet training would make turning those double plays a breeze. Well, at least in my younger years it would have been easy.

I remember Candlestick Park because I used to... freeze, but my folks always had hot cocoa in a thermos to warm me up.

Garlic Fries or Hot Dog... Garlic wards off all evil, like the dreaded Dodgers. But I'm also partial to Orlando's Cha Cha Bowl!

Beer or Wine... Fine Chardonnay only for this lady.

Keeping Score or Relaxing in the Sun... a well broken in scorebook is the sign of a true baseball fan, plus it keeps my head in the game.

Will Clark or Willie McCovey... Stretch is a Giant amongst Giants.

"Sand Lot" or "Field of Dreams"... how can a girl choose? They're both great baseball flicks!

Take Me Out To The Ballgame with Cindy:
My all-time favorite Giant is... Dave Dravecky

If I were on the Giants, I would be a... Pitcher, of course. I must revert back to my short-lived career as a hurler in bobby sox.

I remember Candlestick Park because... It was featured in a Dirty Harry movie with Clint Eastwood. More importantly, though, I remember it because my dad used to take me to ballgames and let me eat whatever I wanted.

Garlic Fries or Hot Dog... Based on those Candlestick Park days, I'll have both, thank you!

Kruk or Kuip... It's a package deal. They both have different styles, which blend perfectly together

Keeping Score or Relaxing in the Sun... I'm all about the fun in the sun.

Home Run or Strikeout... The BIG crack of the bat

Curveball or Fastball... Curveball. It's more of a surprise

Take Me Out To The Ballgame with Kevin:
My all-time favorite Giant is... Will Clark. Growing up as kids, all of my friends and I used to try to mimic his sweet swing.

The best moment that I ever witnessed at AT&T Park was... when we clinched the National League Title on October 14, 2002. The icing on the cake was that we won the game in dramatic ninth-inning fashion.

If I were on the Giants, I would play... 2nd Base. The double play is a thing of beauty...especially when our Giants turn it!

I remember Candlestick Park because I used to... go there when I was younger and be all cozy when I bundled up for the night games. In a way, it felt a little serene. My first ever game I went to was at Candlestick Park. The first time I stepped onto the concourse from the Upper Deck, it was so exciting and I immediately fell in love with the game.

Kruk or Kuip... Kruk. "Grab some pine, meat!"

Day or Night Game... I like to switch it up. Both provide entirely different and fun environments.

Beer or Wine... Yes. =)

Curveball or Fastball... What's the count? Actually, whatever Bengie calls.

I took a turn and left the organization last season and helped with the sales and marketing of Stanford's new football stadium. I then became the fly that would not go away. I returned to the Giants right before the 2007 season and that's where I stand.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame With Joe:
