Rookie Ball - Half-Day Camp

Half-day camps, also known as Rookie Ball, are offered for boys and girls ages 3-5 (must be potty-trained). Each Rookie Ball session is weeklong (Monday-Friday) from 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM. Cost: $325

Rookie Ball provides a safe, engaging, and fun environment that allows us the opportunity to 'set the baseball hook' for your camper. Our early childhood educators teach the basic fundamentals of baseball through an age-appropriate curriculum that fosters self-confidence, teamwork, and basic skill development.

We hire a staff with blended experience in early childhood education and sports to ensure your camper learns some baseball fundamentals, creates new friendships, and, most importantly, starts to appreciate the countless life lessons that sports can teach. We play baseball, we tell stories, we take playground breaks, and we create lasting memories. We do not, however, take napsÂ… We leave that activity for pickup time - you can thank us later!

Each camper will receive a healthy snack each day and a Giants Camps t-shirt, in addition to other fun prizes and giveaways.

What are people saying about Giants Baseball Camp?

"This was one of the BEST run camps I've come across (on both the east and west coast - we just moved back to CA from Brooklyn). The communication between the camp staff and administration was above and beyond what I expected and my son talked about the daily activities all the time."

"Wow- what a fantastic camp. My son absolutely loved it. Every morning he jumped out of bed and was so eager to get to camp, and everyday at pickup he had a huge smile on his face - he was actually glowing with excitement. Thank you for making this such a memorable, special week for my son!!"

"The camp is a baseball lover's dream! Amazing coaches full of positive energy, lots of fun playing baseball, very professional and well organized. In my camper's words, "beyond phenomenal." We all love the experience."

"A first-class campÂ… very reflective of the Giants Organization!"

"In 24 years of selecting summer camps for my children, this is by far the best and most well organized camp they have attended. I cannot say enough great things about it."

"This was my son's first Giants Camp, and he loved every minute of it! The camp was well organized and well run. At first, I was apprehensive about sending my five-year-old to camp, but when I arrived on the first day and saw the amount of staff and the energy they displayed, I knew that my son would enjoy his time. He came home every day from camp dirty, tired and happy! Giants Camp was a success. I have already told all my friends about it."

"Excellent camp- my kids rave about it every single year. Keep it up!"

"My daughter loved her week at Giants Baseball Camp. Their focus on character building and sportsmanship was truly impressive. The uniform made her feel extra special, down to the last detail. The camp is run in a professional manner with very well-outlined procedures. Thank you for making this week so special for her. She is already talking about doing it again next year."

"This camp is well run and my son loved it for the second year. He says he learned more in one week than he did in a whole season of little league."

"My child did nothing but share rave reviews about this camp. The staff was skilled, friendly, and upbeat all the time. Thank you for fostering a boy's love of the game and taking his Giants fan level to new heights."
