In 2009, the Giants and Willie McCovey introduced the Junior Giants Stretch Drive. Inspired by Hall of Famer Willie McCovey, the Junior Giants Stretch Drive is a fundraising campaign dedicated to raising money and awareness for the Giants Community Fund's flagship program Junior Giants.
We're pleased to report that the 2011 Stretch Drive campaign raised over $265,000 to maintain Junior Giants -- a free, non-competitive, co-ed baseball program for 17,000 children in over 85 underserved communities.
