The Giants Community Fund partners with many local organizations to raise awareness about important health-related causes. The Fund also collaborates with the San Francisco Giants Community Relations department to identify important community initiatives and health awareness days at AT&T Park.

Snacking on nutritious foods will keep your energy levels high and your mind alert! During the baseball season, it's even more important to eat healthy foods that give you the fuel you need to keep going.

Junior Giants are encouraged to keep track of the fruits and veggies they eat, and their physical activity, on the nutrition magnet in the Junior Giants handbook.

Choose from all forms of fruits and veggies -- fresh, frozen, canned, dried and 100% juice -- all count.

Until There's A Cure Day

In 1994, the Giants teamed up with the Until There's A Cure Foundation to become the first professional sports team to host an AIDS benefit game.

Since then, the Giants and the Giants Community Fund have continued to support the effort each year by giving out over $425,000 in grants to Bay Area organizations focusing on HIV/AIDS education and service.

Community representatives participated in the pre game ceremony to educate fans about the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Twin sisters and double-lung recipients Isabel Stenzel Byrnes and Anabel Stenzel threw out the first pitch at the 2010 Organ Donor Night.

Organ Donor Awareness Night

In conjunction with the California Transplant Donor Network, the Giants and the Giants Community Fund support the annual Organ Donor Awareness Night at AT&T Park. The night is committed to raising awareness about the importance of organ donation. The first 5,000 fans at the gates received baseball cards with organ donation information from the California Transplant Donor Network.
