THERE'S MORE THAN BASEBALL AT AT&T PARK!

Along with the exciting games of the San Francisco Giants, AT&T Park hosts several other popular events throughout the year.

  • World Class Soccer Doubleheader

We are excited to announce that AT&T Park will be hosting a world class soccer doubleheader on Saturday, March 17th. The first match will feature a Major League Soccer regular season match between the San Jose Earthquakes and the Houston Dynamo, followed by an international match featuring Olympic hopefuls Mexico vs. Senegal, presented by Visa.

AT&T Park has hosted the Mexican senior team in the past, and more recently a Herbalife World Football Challenge 2011 summer match between Mexico’s Club America and Manchester City. The March 17 game will mark the return of Mexico’s Under-23 squad to the Bay Area. A memorable sold out crowd of more than 45,000 fans attended the 2008 game at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum between Mexico and Iceland.

San Jose will host the MLS Cup 2011 runner up Houston Dynamo in what is expected to be an exciting match between the two former MLS champions with historical ties. The regular season match was original scheduled for March 18.

    Mexico vs. Senegal Under-23 Teams – 4:30 p.m. PT
The match between the Mexican and Senegalese Olympic hopefuls represents the first time these two national teams face off with under-23 squads. Mexico will use this match as part of its preparation for the upcoming CONCACAF Olympic qualifiers, which begin March 23 vs. Trinidad & Tobago, followed by Honduras (Mar. 25) and Panama (Mar. 27), all at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. Senegal awaits its AFC playoff opponent in its Olympic qualifying, as the African nation looks to secure its spot in this summer’s big event.
