Acme Chophouse

Acme Chophouse Restaurant Bar

Traci Des Jardins, chef/co-owner of Jardiniere, and Director of Operations Larry Bain are the visionaries for Acme Chophouse - a traditional chophouse using naturally raised meats and poultry, local fish and sustainably grown produce.

The Acme Chophouse has been renovated using green principles, allowing the restaurant to be consistent with its goal of being a socially responsible business. Green principles follow the vision that green is beautiful, economical, and healthy.

Located at Third and King streets, Acme Chophouse is reminiscent of old San Francisco grills, with wood paneling and table tops and cream accents. There are 175 seats, including booths, and a private dining room.

Acme Chophouse Restaurant Dining

Private dining is available in the Say Hey Room, which can accommodate 75 guests for a sit down meal and 100 guests for a cocktail reception. The room is warm and comfortable, and perfect for business dinners, group meetings or celebrations. The Say Hey Room has wood wainscoting, and contains pictures that capture the career of Willie Mays, the "Say Hey" kid.

Semi-private dining is available throughout the restaurant for groups of 16 or more. It is also possible to book the whole restaurant for groups of up to 250.

Acme is about healthful produce: naturally raised, locally raised meats and poultry, locally caught fish, and just-picked produce from small organic farms. All of the meat - and meat is a must-have at Acme - is naturally raised without hormones or antibiotics. Every night, the menu offers meat that is grass-fed and healthier for people and the planet. Acme offers a great raw bar, a bar menu that features sandwiches, ribs and other snacks, and a selection of desserts that are honest and seasonal. Acme offers lunch when there is an afternoon baseball game.
