PirateFest presented by T-Mobile

Admission is FREE!

Don't miss activities for the entire family such as live events, autograph sessions with current and former Pirates, prizes, games, youth baseball clinics, the Pirate Parrot, the ability to purchase tickets for the 2015 season and more.

This year, in an effort to improve the individual experience, autograph sessions will be ticketed and sold prior to the event. Each session will feature three current and/or former Pirates players, and be limited to 200 fans per 90 minute session. Each autograph session ticket will be available for a $20 donation to help Pirates Charities mission to assist current and former military personnel and their families.

Please check back soon to purchase your autograph session tickets.

In addition to the autograph donation opportunities, there will be special FREE autograph sessions for kids ages 14 and younger throughout the entire weekend event.

Fans are also encouraged to donate a new toy at the Pirates Charities booth throughout the weekend to support the Allegheny County Department of Human Services Holiday Project. Fans 14 years of age and older making a new toy donation will receive a special Pirates Charities ornament (limit one ornament per eligible fan, while supplies last).

Fans can participate in the fun as a Pirates broadcaster Tim Neverett hosts Deal or No Deal with reliever Jared Hughes from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the PirateFest Stage.

Coaches Q&A / Clinic:

Pirates coaches Jeff Branson, Brad Fischer, Nick Leyva, Euclides Rojas, Ray Searage and Rick Sofield will teach the fundamentals of baseball from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the PirateFest Field.

Kids Only Press Conference:

Shortstop Jordy Mercer will take questions from kids from 2:00 to 2:30 on the PirateFest Field.

PirateFest Q&A:

Greg Brown will host a special Q&A between Pirates fans and all attending players and coaches on the PirateFest Stage from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Ask Pirates Management:

Fans will have the opportunity to ask their questions about offseason moves, the 2015 season, and more in this special Q&A with Pirates management team Frank Coonelly, Neal Huntington and Clint Hurdle on the PirateFest Stage from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

"Oh Say Can You Sing" Competition:

Fans interested in trying out for the "Oh Say Can You Sing?" competition will sing The Star Spangled Banner a cappella for a panel of judges during auditions. The judges will then pass out 10 "golden tickets" throughout the day. Those fans will participate in the "Oh Say Can You Sing?" competition on the main stage from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A panel of judges including Pirates Andrew Lambo and Chris Stewart and Pirates alumni John Candelaria, will select one winner to sing the Star Spangled Banner at a Pirates home game in 2015.

Beat the Parrot:

Join broadcaster Greg Brown and take on the Pirate Parrot in our "Beat the Parrot" game on the PirateFest Field from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Pierogie Eating Contest:

Pirates fans will have the opportunity to participate in the popular Pierogie eating contest -- presented by Mrs. T's Pierogies -- hosted by Bob Walk on the PirateFest Stage from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
