Michael Amin joins MLBPA staff

NEW YORK -- The Major League Baseball Players Association announced today that Michael Amin has joined the staff as Category Director - Interactive Games, Internet, and Business Partnerships. In his new role, he is responsible for development of the Players Association's video game, Internet and mobile businesses as well as selling and servicing national sponsorship programs.

Making the announcement, Judy Heeter, MLBPA's Director of Business Affairs and Licensing, said, "Mike brings significant experience in digital media and entertainment, including his most recent position as Airborne Mobile's Director for Product Management in Canada. Mike's experience in product development, product management, marketing, and business development will be a tremendous asset for the MLBPA."

Amin received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Concordia University, Montreal, and his MBA from McGill University, Montreal. He lives in New York City, has competed in the Montreal Triathlon and speaks French fluently.
