Mulvey denied win
Photos
Giants 4, D-backs 1
Kevin Mulvey allowed four runs in six innings against the Giants. (Ben Margot/AP)
Rookie Kevin Mulvey remained winless in four career Major League starts as a three-run inning marred an otherwise solid outing. He lasted six innings and allowed only one other run, but the D-backs could not help him out much at the plate as their only run scored on an error against veteran Giants right-hander Brad Penny.
