Outman tapped out
Photos
Giants 5, Athletics 2
Josh Outman allowed more than three earned runs for the first time this year. (Ben Margot/AP)
Josh Outman took his first loss of the season after hitting a bump in the seventh inning. A double and a single to start the frame knocked him out of the game, and two A's relievers combined to let three runs score. Kurt Suzuki contributed his third homer of the year.
