After pounding out 27 hits over the previous two games against the D-backs, the Giants notched just four in the series finale, two of them by Aaron Rowand. Jonathan Sanchez allowed one run in 5 2/3 innings despite issuing seven walks and hitting a batter, but he took the loss.
