The Giants' biggest offseason signing in terms of salary came through, as shortstop Edgar Renteria powered a grand slam and an RBI single for two of his three hits on the night. Travis Ishikawa clubbed a two-run double to seal a victory for Matt Cain, who pitched six solid innings.
