Peavy slammed
Photos
Giants 8, Padres 3
Jake Peavy regroups after allowing a fourth-inning grand slam. (Marcio Jose Sanchez/AP)
For the first time since the Wild Card tiebreaker in 2007, Jake Peavy gave up six runs in a game, with four of them coming on the first grand slam allowed in the right-hander's career. That helped send the Padres to consecutive losses for the first time this season.
