Things started off badly for the Giants and Barry Zito, with Ivan Ochoa's two-base error in the first inning leading to an unearned run against the left-hander. Though Zito turned in a solid eight innings, giving up two earned runs, his teammates tallied just one run, on John Bowker's pinch-hit RBI single in the eighth.
