Reimold may need second epidural injection
Outfielder Nolan Reimold is not progressing the way the Orioles had hoped, and while Reimold -- who is on the disabled list with a herniated disc -- was scheduled to be examined by a team physician on Monday, manager Buck Showalter wasn't overly optimistic in his assessment.

New bat in hand, Hamilton aims to stay hot
After Josh Hamilton hit .467 with nine home runs and 18 RBIs over his last seven games, it came as little surprise that he was named AL Player of the Week on Monday. The bat that Hamilton used to hit all but one of the nine home runs he had last week has been sent to the Hall of Fame. It cracked in his final at-bat Sunday night.

Perfect game? No-hitter? Complete-game shutout? By the time Monday night's contest ended, Lester merely settled for a satisfying complete-game 6-1 victory over the Mariners.
