Giants Players, Coaches, Broadcasters & Alumni to Appear in San Jose and San Francisco for Annual KNBR 680/Giants FanFest

Members of the 2009 San Francisco Giants, including 2008 National League Cy Young Award Winner Tim Lincecum, will join Giants coaches, broadcasters and alumni in San Francisco for the 16th Annual KNBR 680/Giants Winter FanFest at AT&T Park on Saturday, February 7, from 10:00 to 3:00 p.m.

They will begin their Bay Area visit with a stop in San Jose on Thursday, February 5, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. for a meet and greet at the Britannia Arms Downtown San Jose before attending the Sharks vs. Hurricanes game at HP Pavilion at 7:30 p.m.

Sharks fans will have the opportunity to "face off" with some of their favorite Giants at The Downtown Brit, which is located at 173 W. Santa Clara Street in the San Pedro Square district of downtown San Jose. Giants players and coaches, including Lincecum, new comers Jeremy Affeldt and Bob Howry, Brian Wilson, Barry Zito, Fred Lewis, Emmanuel Burriss, Kevin Frandsen and others will be on hand to sign autographs, pose for photos and meet their South Bay fans. Giants media partners NBC Bay Area and CSN Bay Area will cover the event, and the team's Single-A affiliate, the San Jose Giants will also be on hand.

Giants players and coaches will attend the Sharks vs. Hurricanes game at 7:30 p.m., where Lincecum will drop the "first puck" immediately prior to the start of the game.

The fun will continue at the KNBR 680/Giants FanFest at AT&T Park on Saturday, February 7, before the team heads to Arizona for Spring Training and the start of its 126th campaign. Admission to the FanFest is free with an option to make a $2 donation to the Giants Community Fund at the door.

Individual game tickets for the 2009 season will go on sale to the public for the first time on the day of FanFest beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Willie Mays Plaza Ticket Windows. Individual game tickets as well as season tickets, Spring Training tickets, group tickets and 6-Packs, including a special KNBR 6-Pack (FanFest offer only) will also be available for purchase inside the FanFest and by visiting the Giants website at; Ticket Outlets in Northern California; and Giants Dugout Stores. Additionally, fans can purchase tickets by calling charge-by-phone at 877-4SFGTIX.

FanFest will feature the KNBR live broadcast stage at home plate, which provides fans the opportunity to watch the broadcast from any Lower Box or Club Level seat in the ballpark. The broadcast will also be carried live on the high-definition Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision scoreboard in centerfield and on the multitude of HD flat panel screens located throughout the ballpark.

Fans will continue to have "behind the scenes" access throughout the ballpark, with self-guided tours of both the Giants and Visitors clubhouses, batting cages, dugouts and press box. There will be interactive games and activities, a Kids Zone and access to the field's warning track.

Giants players, coaches, alumni and broadcasters scheduled to attend FanFest and sign autographs, pose for photos and participate in Q&A sessions throughout the day include: Jeremy Affeldt, Vida Blue, Bruce Bochy, John Bowker, Emmanuel Burriss, Matt Cain, Orlando Cepeda, Will Clark, Jesse English, Tim Flannery, Dave Flemming, Kevin Frandsen, Mark Gardner, Alex Hinshaw, Steve Holm, Bob Howry, Randy Johnson, Mike Krukow, Duane Kuiper, Carney Lansford, Fred Lewis, Joseph Martinez, Osiris Matos, Jon Miller, Pat Misch, Dave Righetti, Dave Roberts, Ryan Rohlinger, Serigo Romo, Brian Sabean, Billy Sadler, Jonathan Sanchez, Nate Schierholtz, Lon Simmons, J.T. Snow, Jack Taschner, Brian Wilson, Ron Wotus, Keiichi Yabu and Barry Zito.

In addition, all of the KNBR 680 radio personalities will be in park broadcasting live from start to finish.
