LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers manager Don Mattingly lost a challenge on a foul call on Adrian Gonzalez's drive down the left-field line in the fourth inning of Saturday night's 1-0 win over the Padres.

Gonzalez led off with an opposite-field drive down that landed close enough to the left-field line that TV cameras showed the dirt from the divot covering the chalk, but there wasn't conclusive enough of an angle for the umpire at the Replay Command Center to change the ruling and the foul call would stand.

The Dodgers are 13-9 on challenges this season.

Gonzalez would go on to single to center field once the at-bat resumed, but the game remained scoreless entering the fifth inning.
