Ibanez gets a day off
SAN FRANCISCO -- Manager Charlie Manuel chose to start Ben Francisco in left field over Raul Ibanez against Giants left-hander Jonathan Sanchez on Monday.
Ibanez is hitting .224 with one home run and eight RBIs in 18 games.
"Raul is swinging better," Manuel said. "Raul is trying to get going. He's been having better at-bats. Raul doesn't like it when he sits."
