Season-ticket packages for the Giants' home exhibition schedule at Scottsdale Stadium are now available by calling the club's ticket office at (415) 972-2000.

Single-game tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at 10 a.m. PST (11 a.m. MST). Tickets may be purchased online at sfgiants.com, via phone at 1-877-4SFGTIX or at either the Giants box office at AT&T Park or all Giants Dugout Stores. In the greater Phoenix area, tickets will be sold at the Scottsdale Stadium box office. Tickets are also available through all participating tickets.com outlets and www.tickets.com.

The Giants' 15-game home schedule includes three dates against the National League Central Division champion Chicago Cubs, starting with the Feb. 28 Cactus League opener. San Francisco also will host the cross-bay rival Oakland A's on March 1 and March 7, the National League champion Colorado Rockies on March 9, the NL West-winning Arizona Diamondbacks on March 14 and the AL West champion Los Angeles Angels on March 16.

40-man roster: As anticipated, the Giants added outfielder John Bowker and infielder Travis Denker to their 40-man roster. Right-hander Kelvin Pichardo and outfielder Clay Timpner also were added, bringing San Francisco's roster to 39.

Bowker earned Eastern League All-Star honors last season by hitting .307 with 35 doubles, 22 home runs and 90 RBIs at Double-A Connecticut. The 24-year-old was the Giants' third-round selection in the 2004 First-Year Player Draft.

Denker, acquired Aug. 26 from the Los Angeles Dodgers as the player to be named in the Mark Sweeney trade, finished with a .300 average in 118 games for Inland Empire and the Giants' high Class-A San Jose affiliate. He proceeded to hit .480 (12-for-25) with three homers and seven RBIs in seven games for San Jose in the postseason.

Obtained from Philadelphia for outfielder Michael Tucker in an August 2005 deal, Pichardo went 4-5 with five saves and a 3.32 ERA while dividing his season between San Jose and Connecticut. Opponents hit .211 off him.

Timpner, who'll make his fourth consecutive appearance in big league camp, batted a career-high .301 for Triple-A Fresno in 109 games.
