Beltran once again made a slew of acrobatic catches. His 398 putouts ranked second and his 12 assists tied him for seventh among Major League outfielders.

Luis Castillo - 2B
Castillo enjoyed an outstanding season at second, committing just six errors for a .991 fielding percentage. He helped turn 97 double plays.

Eric Chavez - 3B
Chavez's .968 fielding percentage was the second-best mark among AL third basemen, and included a career-high 47-game errorless streak.

Edmonds' 11 assists were the most in the Majors among center fielders. He was charged with only four errors for a .988 fielding percentage

Torii Hunter - CF
Hunter has made leaping plays at the fence and diving catches in center field an art form. He posted a .988 fielding percentage with five assists.

Cesar Izturis - SS
Izturis committed only 10 errors, ranked second among NL shortstops with 430 assists and placed third in the league with a .985 fielding percentage.

Andruw Jones - CF
Jones committed just three errors in 402 chances this year, while collecting 10 assists. His 389 putouts placed him second among NL outfielders

Mike Matheny - C
Matheny's record errorless streak reached 252 games before ending on Aug. 4 (his only miscue of the season). He was charged with only two passed balls.

Scott Rolen - 3B
Known for his superb range and throwing ability, Rolen wasn't charged with a throwing error until Sept. 6. He ranked first among third basemen with 325 assists.

Brian Schneider - C
Schneider was the only everyday catcher to throw out 50 percent of would-be base thieves, nailing 36 of 72 runners. He committed only two errors all season.

Ichiro Suzuki - RF
Ichiro committed just two errors in 387 total chances, and he matched his single-season high in assists (12). His 372 putouts ranked second among AL OFs.

Jack Wilson - SS
Wilson's 492 assists topped all NL shortstops (62 more than second place). He helped turn 129 double plays, the most by any shortstop in baseball.
