It seems there are some pranksters in the Rays' locker room.
Tampa Bay's posted lineups for Tuesday and Wednesday have looked a bit suspicious, to say the least. Don't get us wrong, watching B.J. Upton pitch would make for a great blooper reel. But these batting orders were slightly unconventional -- even for Joe Maddon.
Luckily, MLB Crime Stoppers is here to investigate and we think we have a suspect. First of all, the entire starting rotation was listed in Wednesday's lineup. (Clue No. 1: Probably a pitcher).
Of the five starters, David Price was the only name out of place in Tuesday's lineup (Clue No. 2). And then the southpaw tweeted this:
Who wants me in that 4 hole?!?! You all know i rake right?!?! RT @RaysGameDay: #NotTheRaysLineup. Sorry @DAVIDprice14. twitter.com/RaysGameDay/st…
