
Despite a tough schedule that has already seen them face the Tigers, Yankees, Rays and Red Sox, the Rangers are a Major League-best 17-6 with the game's best run differential to boot.
They already lead the AL West by 6 1/2 games. They've scored the second-most runs in the AL and allowed the fewest.
By every reasonable measure, they're the dominant team in the Junior Circuit and likely the Majors thus far. Still, it's only 23 games.
So here's the question: Is Texas the prohibitive World Series favorite at this point? In short, just how good are these guys?
