San Francisco Giants, FSN Bay Area announce long-term rights extension12/10/2007 2:23 PM ET
SAN FRANCISCO -- The San Francisco Giants and FSN Bay Area today announced an agreement for a long-term extension of their rights agreement and media partnership. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"We are excited to deepen our relationship with FSN Bay Area, one of the signature regional sports networks in the country," said Giants Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Larry Baer. "The extension of our partnership will enable us to deliver enhanced and expanded Giants television programming to area sports fans throughout the year."
"We are thrilled to extend our partnership with the Giants for the long term because they are such an important part of local sports culture," said Ted Griggs, vice president and acting general manager of FSN Bay Area. "This partnership will enable us to create new, innovative sports programming, more HDTV coverage and the best possible viewing experience for Bay Area sports fans. Our commitment will not only include the Giants but also extend to our other core teams - the A's, Warriors, Sharks, and SaberCats."
