Hal O'Leary Awards

hal O'Leary Awards

Named after Mr. Hal O'Leary, the founder of the National Sports Center for the Disabled located in Winter Park, Colorado, the Hal O'Leary Awards honor the accomplishments of both disabled individuals and those that advocate on behalf of the disabled in our community. These individuals inspire us every day with their courage, dedication and leadership and they deserve to be recognized. The Colorado Rockies Baseball Club is proud to honor them during one memorable evening each year.

The Hal O'Leary Awards are presented during a Dinner Event held on beautiful Coors Field. This year's dinner will be held Thursday, September 12th @ 6:00 P.M. All proceeds from the Hal O'Leary Awards Dinner go to the Colorado Rockies Charities, whose mission is to assist a wide range of nonprofit organizations in the Denver Metro area that work directly in support of youth education, child abuse prevention and health.

If you would like to nominate an individual for an award or have an interest in sponsoring a table at the event, please call (303) 312-2337 or email Antigone.Vigil@rockies.com for more information.

Nominations will be accepted until July 5, 2013.
