Special Group Nights FAQ

Important Note:

Valid, corresponding Special Group Night ticket(s) must be presented at the redemption location in order to redeem that night's item, if applicable. Your ticket(s) will include a designation that will allow you to redeem your ticket(s) for the night's giveaway. You will not be able to receive the item unless you have present a valid Special Group Night ticket or prepaid Season Ticket voucher.

Will I receive the Special Group Night item if I purchase a regular game ticket?

No, you must purchase the specific game's Special Group Night ticket to receive the item. You can purchase ticket(s) though the Special Group Night website or by calling 773-404-4242.

Will my Special Group Night ticket look different from a normal game ticket?

All Special Group Night tickets will have a printed designation of that night's item to allow you to collect your item either pre- or postgame, depending on the logistics of the night.

How will I receive my giveaway item?

Special Group Night giveaway items can be collected on the day of the game at the distribution location. We will communicate the instructions on where the particular area will be for redemption prior to the game date in question. Make sure that you bring your Special Group Night ticket or prepaid Season Ticket voucher with you, as you will not be able to collect your item without it.

Am I guaranteed to receive the Special Group Night item?

Yes. Unlike gate giveaways, where only the first 10,000 or so fans receive the promo item, every fan that purchases a Special Group Night ticket will be guaranteed the giveaway item (unless otherwise specified with a specific limit). Items are only guaranteed if claimed on the day of the Special Group Night. For items that will be available pregame, the redemption period will last until the bottom of the 6th inning. For post-game redemption items, we will communicate the time that the item will be available for redemption via email prior to the game date in question.

I am a Season Ticket Holder. Do my Season Tickets include these Special Group Night items?

Season Tickets do not include these Special Group Night giveaways. Season ticket Holders are welcome to purchase a Special Group Night ticket through Cubs.com/Specialgroupnights. Season Ticket Holders also are able to purchase a Special Group Night voucher for gameday redemption of the Special Group Night item. For applicable prices and availability, please contact your dedicated Season Ticket Representative or e-mail cubsseasontickets@cubs.com.

Can I exchange regular game tickets for Special Group Night tickets if it is the same game date?

Unfortunately, there is not a process for exchanging regular game tickets for Special Group Night tickets.

Am I able to collect my item if I can't make the game?

Items are not guaranteed if not collected on the day of the Special Group Night. However, if supply allows, the Cubs Ticket Sales department will make every attempt to honor Special Group Night ticket redemptions after the game date. Email fanservices@cubs.com or contact your dedicated Season Ticket Service Representative, if applicable, to arrange a pickup time.
