Sloan Park A-to-Z Guide



ACCESSIBLE SEATING
Located in various sections throughout the ballpark, these seats are used to accommodate individuals with disabilities or those who have a difficult time reaching their seats. These tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 1-800-THE-CUBS, or by stopping by the Sloan Park ticket office during business hours and requesting accessible seating.

ANIMALS
Animals, except for services animals assisting visitors with disabilities, are not permitted.

AUTOGRAPHS
Time permitting, players and coaches may sign autographs up until 30 minutes prior to the game. Fans seeking autographs following the game may have the opportunity to find players in the designated player walkway from the ballpark to the home clubhouse, located outside the Home Plate Gate.

BABY CHANGING AREAS
Baby changing areas can be found in each restroom, including our family restrooms located throughout the ballpark. A changing area can also be found at First Aid, located directly behind section 111.

BANNERS AND SIGNS
Banners and signs are permitted in Sloan Park when the following guidelines are followed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all fans. The times of display are limited to before the game, between innings, and after the game. The Chicago Cubs reserve the right to confiscate banners/signs with an inappropriate message, those that are commercial in nature, those causing a disturbance and/or those obstructing sightlines. Banners/signs may never be mounted on sticks, wooden frames or any similar apparatus and may not be attached to any railings.

BOTTLES AND CANS
No glass bottles, cans or alcoholic beverages of any kind may be brought into Sloan Park. Hard-sided coolers and thermoses of any kind are not permitted into the ballpark. Water in unopened plastic bottles is allowed in the ballpark. Soda and other beverages are not permitted.

CAMERAS/VIDEO EQUIPMENT
Visitors are welcome to bring video and still cameras into the ballpark; however, tripods are not allowed in the seating areas. Recordings may be used for personal viewing only. Any other use distribution or commercial use is prohibited. Fans may not distribute any copyrighted game information without permission of the Chicago Cubs.

CHILDREN'S TICKETS
Fans ages 2 and under are admitted to Sloan Park without a ticket, provided they are seated on the lap of a parent or guardian.

CREDIT CARD POLICY
MasterCard is the preferred card of the Chicago Cubs. American Express, MasterCard, Discover and VISA are accepted at Sloan Park box offices and gift shops, as well as all concession stands.

From the North:
• Take AZ 101 loop South to East AZ 202
• AZ 202 loop East to Exit 10 (Dobson Road)
• Entrance to parking lots is about 0.4 miles on the right-hand side

From the South:
• Take AZ 101 loop North to East AZ 202
• AZ 202 loop East to Exit 10 (Dobson Road)
• Entrance to parking lots is about 0.4 miles on the right-hand side
OR
• Take AZ 101 loop North to exit 52 (Rio Salado Parkway)
• Merge onto N. Price Road
• Make a right (east) off of exit, onto Rio Salado Parkway
• Ballpark is 0.7 miles past exit on the left-hand side

From the East:
• Take AZ 202 loop West to exit 10 (Dobson Road)
• Take exit 10 left as it becomes Dobson Road
• Entrance to parking lots is 0.4 miles on the right-hand side

From the West:
• Take AZ 202 loop East to exit 10 (Dobson Road)
• Entrance to parking lots is 0.4 miles on the right-hand side

DRINKING FOUNTAINS
Drinking fountains are located all throughout the ballpark, outside each restroom location.

ELEVATORS
Public elevators are located just inside the Home Plate Gate, on the southwest side of the facility, as well as underneath the party deck on the north side of the facility. Both elevators are available for use by the general public; however, disabled individuals have priority status.

EMPLOYMENT
The majority of jobs are part-time, with work shifts based on our game schedule. Please check up-to-date postings at www.cubs.com/jobs.

FAMILY RESTROOMS
Family restrooms are located all throughout the ballpark. They can be found in the concourse behind sections 112 and 120, in left field, and on all three party deck levels.

FAN SERVICES KIOSK
Our Fan Services kiosk is located just inside the First Base Gate. Services provided include answers to fan questions, ballpark food locations, directions and more. Fans may also share their feedback here regarding their experience at Sloan Park and obtain pocket schedules.

FIREARMS AND WEAPONS
No firearms or other weapons are allowed on Sloan Park premises.

FIRST AID
The First Aid station is located near the Home Plate Gate, behind section 111. Fans in need of first aid may ask an usher, security guard or Cubs staff member to request First Aid personnel.

FOUL BALLS AND HOME RUN BALLS
Fans are permitted to keep foul balls and home run balls hit into occupied seating areas as souvenirs. However, fans must not enter the playing area to retrieve balls or otherwise interfere with balls still in play. All fans, especially those sitting along the foul lines in the box seats, are cautioned to stay alert for hard-hit foul balls or bats that might leave the field of play. Ticket holders assume all risks and dangers incidental to the game of baseball, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the actual playing of the game including (but not exclusively) the danger of being injured by or in connection with any thrown or batted ball. The Chicago Cubs are not liable for resulting injuries. The Chicago Cubs cannot be held responsible for the conduct of other guests when attempting to obtain a foul or home run ball.

GATES
There are four designated gates at Sloan Park. Their locations are as follows:
• Center Field Gate - North side of the facility
• Right Field Gate - Southeast side of the facility
• First Base Gate - South side of the facility
• Home Plate Gate - Southwest side of the facility

GATES OPEN
Sloan Park gates open 90 minutes before the scheduled start time of the game.

LOST AND FOUND
Any items found at Sloan Park should be turned in to the Cubs security office located behind section 111. If the item isn't located during the game, fans may call the next day to check if the item was found.

LOST PARENTS/FOUND CHILDREN
Children who have lost their parents will be escorted by a staff member to the Cubs security office located behind section 111. Parents who have lost their children may come to the Fan Services kiosk to locate their child.

MERCHANDISE The official Cubs team store featuring Cubs merchandise can be found inside the Right Field Gate, on the southwest side of the facility. Additional souvenir shops are located behind home plate and in center field.

OVATIONS
Ovations Food Services proudly manages the food, beverage and merchandise sales at Sloan Park. For guest convenience, there are six concession stands, as well as multiple portable cart outlets located throughout the ballpark.

Ovations is a member of the TEAM Coalition (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management), which is an alliance organization made up of sports and entertainment facilities, concessionaires, stadium service providers, beer industry, broadcasters, governmental traffic safety experts and others committed to promoting responsible drinking and positive fan behavior at sports and entertainment facilities. All Ovations service employees are training on TEAM service standards.

PARKING
Parking for all games at Sloan Park is available at $10.00 (reserved) or $5.00 (general) per vehicle or motorcycle. Buses or RVs will be charged $14.00. General lots are located to the east of the ballpark. Spots are available on a first-come basis. Parking lots open four hours prior to gametime.

PROHIBITED
Fans are prohibited from bringing the following items into Sloan Park:
• Alcohol
• Bags (exceeding 16" x 16" x 8")
• Brooms
• Cans and glass containers
• Folding chairs
• Hard-sided coolers
• Illegal drugs
• Inflatables (such as beach balls)
• Laser pointers
• Nets
• Noise makers
• Non-factory sealed plastic containers
• Soda and other beverages (water in an unopened plastic bottle is permitted)
• Thermoses
• Umbrellas
• Weapons

All fans seated on the outfield berm must be seated directly on the grass, or a blanket. No chairs are allowed. All bags are subject to inspection. To ensure fan safety, the club reserves the right to refuse admittance of any item deemed hazardous or suspicious, including any item capable of being used as a projectile.

RADIOS/TELEVISIONS
Hand-held radios and small televisions are welcomed at Sloan Park as long as they do not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the game. Please be considerate by using a low volume or headphones. Sloan Park staff reserve the right to ask any questions to discontinue the use of such devices.

RAIN CHECK POLICY
Tickets may not be refunded or exchanged, provided however if a game or other event to which your ticket applies is not played on its scheduled date, a refund or exchange may be offered. Please refer to sloanpark.com for the policy regarding this ticket, if any. Keep your entire ticket to receive a refund or exchange, if offered. In some cases, refund or credit may be available only to the original purchaser.

RE-ENTRY
There is no re-entry allowed at Sloan Park.

REMOTE SHUTTLE
Shuttle pick-up and drop-off is located at the First Base Gate. Shuttles run periodically before, during and after game-time.

RESTROOMS
Women, men and family restrooms are located throughout Sloan Park. Restrooms can be found behind sections 103, 112, 119, 120, behind the left field and right-field seating areas, and on all three party decks. All family restrooms are equipped with infant changing tables.

SMOKING
Smoking is allowed in the designated smoking areas outside of the Center Field and First Base Gates.

TAILGATING POLICY
Tailgating is permitted in all parking lots. Lots will open four hours before the start of the game. Spots are available on a first-come basis. Tailgating in ballpark lots is restricted to guest's own parking space, either in front of or behind their vehicle. Tailgating cannot block multiple spaces or roadways.

TEAM STORE
The official Cubs Team Store is located at our Right Field Gate. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and Sunday day games.

TICKET SALES
The Cubs Ticket Office is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, as well as Sunday game days.

Will Call - Will Call tickets may be picked up from the Cubs ticket office at any time during the office hours listed above. Fans with questions about tickets should call 1-800-THE-CUBS.

TOURS OF SLOAN PARK
Sloan Park is now offering tours of the stadium (Under Armour Performance Center and Practice Facilities not included in tour). Tickets are available at the Box Office windows and can be purchased for $5 per person. Tours run at 10 a.m. and 12 noon MST on the following days: Friday, Feb. 13; Saturday, Feb. 14; Friday, Feb. 27; Saturday, Feb. 28; Friday, March 20.

VALID TICKETS
To avoid problems with counterfeit, stolen, void, or inflated price tickets, purchase tickets only at the Sloan Park Box Office or from a licensed outlet.

WHEELCHAIR SERVICE
Sloan Park has a limited number of wheelchairs available to assist guests. If wheelchair service is needed to transport a guest to a seat location or back to one of the gates at the conclusion of the game, please notify a Sloan Park employee for assistance. Due to the limited number of wheelchairs, these can only be used to transport guests and cannot be rented or borrowed to sit in while watching the game. Please be aware that wheelchairs are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, during periods of heavy volume, guests may be asked to wait until a wheelchair becomes available to transport them either to their seats or back to the gates. Please see the nearest Sloan Park representative in the event of a medical emergency in which wheelchair service is needed.

WORKOUTS
Though practice times vary on non-game days, they often begin at 9 a.m. and run until approximately 12:30 p.m. Fields 3-6 on the far west side of the complex have open access to the public and are a great opportunity to watch batting practice and various other workouts. Parking is available adjacent to these fields. There will not be a charge for parking on days in which there are only workouts. The first full squad workout is scheduled for Feb. 23, 2015.
