For the month of November, a group of D-backs front office personnel, including chief executive Derrick Hall, took on a challenge issued annually by local St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. They grew out their beards to support men's health in general and cancer medical services in particular.
The subject is near and dear to Hall, a prostate cancer survivor. So is Ken Kendrick, the club's managing general partner. November was Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, so it was a natural for the D-backs to take part in a project appropriately named "Let Your Humankindness Grow." Full story »
